When

Tue 17 – Fri 20 November 2026

Where

Three venues near Grand Central

Who it is for

Registered guests, and 20 selected projects for 1:1 mentoring

01 Why New York

Where the decisions are made in person

  1. Closed networks

Romanian film is recognised at the major festivals and on global platforms. Yet the American market still runs through closed networks: financing, distribution, acquisitions and co-productions are decided through recommendations and meetings in person.

  2. Skills at the border

Film professionals now need skills at the border with technology and business: AI, immersive media, new ways of distribution. People who already work internationally pass them on best.

  3. Young Romanians in the US

Many young Romanians in the US work in film, tech and entrepreneurship, but are rarely connected with each other, or with professionals and institutions in Romania.

02 How it works

Five parts, four days

Masterclasses open to registered guests and 1:1 meetings for the 20 selected projects, with conversations, screenings and dinners around them.
